Survey call checklist
- Click New Google Meet, then text or email the meeting link to the client and have them join on their phone. Ask them to use the rear camera, held in landscape. Confirm you can see and hear them.
- In Meet, pin the client's video so it fills the window and hide your own self view. Then click Connect screen and pick the Google Meet tab.
- Fill in the move details at the top before or during the call, including access at both ends: stairs, elevator, parking, and distance from the truck.
- Go room by room. Ask the client to slowly pan the camera around the whole room, including into closets, cabinets, and under furniture, and to pause on large items so the picture is sharp.
- Press C or Capture to grab a frame of each area into the matching room. Run the AI estimate, then confirm quantities with the client while you have them. For a close look at anything, ask them to text a photo and use Upload photos.
- Ask about the easy to forget spaces: garage, basement, attic, storage unit, shed, and anything outdoors or in a second property.
- Watch the running totals. Add notes and the declared value as they come up in conversation.
- When every room is covered, generate the PDF and save it to the client file.
